How to: 90mins Taiwanese Braised Pork Rice | 1Pot Meal

Ingredients:
730g Pork Belly
6 cloves garlic
10 shallots
4 eggs
Cooking oil
Chinese wine
White pepper
Five Spice Powder
Vegetarian Mushroom Seasoning OR Salt
Oyster sauce (Vegetarian)
Dark soy sauce

Directions:
i) Boil a pot of water for the hard-boil eggs.
ii) Start by slicing pork belly to bite size.
iii) Follow by slicing garlic & mince it.
iv) Slice shallots.
v) The hard-boiled eggs are done within 10-12 minutes, drain eggs immediately and put it in a bowl of water to cool it off.
vi) Peels the eggshell after the eggs are warm enough.
vii) Heat the pan to stir fry garlic, until it turns golden brown, and rest the garlic in a plate.
viii) Follow by stir frying the shallots, until it turns golden brown, and rest it in a plate as well.
ix) Make sure all the ingredients are ready.
x) Stir fry the pork belly with the leftover oil that used for garlic & shallots earlier.
xi) Cook it until the pork belly water are off, add white wine and keep on with the stir fry.
xii) Add in white pepper, and five spice powder to get the taste and stir fry for about 3 minutes.
xiii) Add in the earlier fried garlic & shallot, and stir fry for about 5 minutes, until you smell the fragrance of the dish.
xiv) Add oyster sauce, & dark soy sauce to continue stir fry until the pork belly and garlic, shallots are well balanced.
xv) Add water until it covers up 1/3 of the pork belly & wait for it to bring to rolling boil.
xvi) After the rolling boil, immediately add in the peeled hard-boiled eggs.
xvii) Close the lid and let it simmer for about 45minutes, and you will be done after!

Side Notes:
§ If you like the pork belly to be more tender or seep in with the flavors, you may leave it simmer for longer time, to an hour or so.
